That's me! If you prefer, you can also call me Misha, especially if you're not sure how to pronounce "Mikhail".
When I'm not writing textbooks, I do research in combinatorics, and teach all kinds of math. I have taught graph theory and other topics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2017-2020), Kennesaw State University (2020-2025), and Canada/USA Mathcamp (every summer since 2014). I received my Ph.D. from the ACO (Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization) program at Carnegie Mellon University, in 2017.
I have recently moved to Connecticut, where my wife Elizabeth Chang-Davidson teaches and does research in mechanical engineering.
